Rapid Response 2014
The Art, Design and Technology Faculty were involved in the Rapid Response event held in school at the end of May. The event allowed students to learn how to deal with disaster situations, learn basic survival skills and look at how we can support victims of a Hurricane. This disaster focuses on a Hurricane in Honduras and uses resources set up my the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE). The Faculty supported bases that involved Shelter Building and Art Attack. GE Oil and Gas staff also supported the event and worked with teachers to ensure every student had a fantastic experience.
