Higher Graphic Communication
Higher Graphic Communication is a 1 year course that provides students as a way to further develop their skills after successfully gaining a National 5 award and would provide a route directly into Advanced Higher.
It is assessed through a course assignment that explores and demonstrates a range of Graphics and an exam that comprises of written questions based on the theory of Graphic Communication.

UnitsStudents are expected to work through 2 Units one on 2D Graphic Communication and the other 3D and Pictorial.
Students are expected to know about how the technology we use compares to manual methods of drawings and the impact it has on society. Students have to an in-depth understanding of the work that they are doing and be able to answer a variety of questions based on the drawings, building plans and symbols, colour theory, hardware, software and packages they have used. |
